What are my rights if my flight is delayed, cancelled, or overbooked under EU261?

Under the EU261 regulation, you may be entitled to financial compensation if your flight:

  • arrives at your destination more than 3 hours late,
  • is cancelled on short notice, or
  • you are denied boarding due to overbooking.

The amount you can claim depends on the distance of your flight and the specific circumstances, and it can range from €250 to €600.
